The MatchTalk AI Operator (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator") establishes and appropriately handles the acquisition, use, and management of information of users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") of the conversation analysis app "MatchTalk AI" (hereinafter referred to as "this App") as follows in this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy").
By using this App, Users are deemed to have agreed to the contents of this Policy. Please also review the Terms of Service for this App in conjunction with this Policy.
1. Information Acquired and Its Purpose of Use
1.1 Information Acquired
The Operator acquires or generates the following information from Users in providing this App.
- Information Provided by Users to This App
- Voice Data: Romance-related conversation audio recorded by the User using the recording function of this App (soliloquy practice or conversations with a consenting party), or audio files imported into this App by the User.
- Setting Information: Settings related to the operation of the application (e.g., recording settings, notification settings, etc.).
- Information Generated by AI Analysis
- Analysis Result Data: Objective data generated by AI (such as Gemini API) analyzing recorded Voice Data (e.g., speaking time, speaking speed, voice tone, number of fillers, positive/negative word ratio, etc.), and interpretations or entertainment-oriented evaluation-based metrics based thereon (e.g., conversation type diagnosis, emotional expression score, compatibility score, etc.).
- Information Automatically Acquired
- Device Information: Model name of the device used by the User, OS version, language settings, device-specific ID (for iOS devices, the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) advertising identifier, or an anonymous ID generated within the app). The acquisition and use of IDFA are limited to cases where User permission is obtained (for details, please refer to "2.3 Anonymity and Identifiers" and "6. Regarding Advertisements (for Free Plan Users)").
- Information Regarding Usage Status: Usage history of this App (startup date and time, functions used, screen transitions, error logs, etc.). This is collected in a form that does not identify individuals and is used to improve the service.
- Billing Information: If the User purchases the Premium Plan, information such as the type of plan purchased, purchase date and time, and expiration date. This information is processed through the payment system of Apple Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Apple"), and the Operator does not directly acquire or store detailed payment information such as the User's credit card number. The Operator confirms the validity of the subscription based on purchase receipt information provided by Apple.
- Information Acquired from External Services (if applicable)
- Currently, this App does not automatically acquire personal information from external services without explicit User operation. If external service linkage functions (e.g., calendar linkage, etc.) are added in the future, the information to be acquired and its purpose of use will be separately specified, and User consent will be obtained.
1.2 Purpose of Use
The Operator uses the acquired information for the following purposes:
- To Provide, Maintain, and Improve This App:
- To provide the core functions of this App, such as voice recording, AI analysis, display of analysis results, and history management.
- To support Users in objectively understanding their communication characteristics and relationships, obtaining hints for improvement while enjoying the process, and deepening self-understanding.
- To provide and process billing for the Premium Plan.
- To resolve technical issues, maintain security, and prevent fraudulent use.
- To improve the quality and convenience of this App and develop new features.
- To Provide and Improve AI Analysis Functions:
- To transmit Voice Data to external AI services (such as Gemini API) and generate Analysis Results.
- To improve the accuracy of AI analysis and develop new evaluation-based metrics (in this case, Voice Data may be used statistically in a form that does not identify individuals).
- For Advertisement Delivery (for Free Plan Users):
- To display personalized advertisements tailored to the User's interests. This includes using the advertising identifier (IDFA) acquired when User permission is obtained.
- For ad effectiveness measurement.
- For Communication:
- To respond to inquiries from Users and provide support.
- To notify Users of important announcements regarding this App, update information, and changes to the Terms of Service or this Policy.
- To Comply with Legal Obligations:
- To respond to applicable laws, regulations, legal procedures, or requests from government agencies.
2. Information Storage Location and Management Method
2.1 Local Storage on Device is the Principle
Voice Data recorded or imported by the User in this App, and the Analysis Results based thereon (hereinafter collectively referred to as "User Data"), are, in principle, stored in local storage (e.g., SQLite database, etc.) on the User's device (e.g., smartphone). The Operator does not collect or store this User Data on its servers, except through explicit User operation or as stipulated in this Policy.
